Account & security
This page helps you use OmniTrack safely. It does not contain server passwords, API keys, or internal network details — those must never appear in public documentation.
Passwords
- Use a unique password that you do not reuse on other websites or apps.
- Prefer length (for example a passphrase) over short complex strings that are hard to remember.
- Change your password if you suspect someone saw it or if your employer asks you to rotate credentials.
Phishing and scams
- Official login pages use your organisation’s normal web address or the official mobile app from trusted stores.
- Nobody from legitimate support should ask for your password or one-time codes by WhatsApp, SMS, or phone. If unsure, contact your school office or operator through a known number.
Shared devices
- On shared phones or tablets (for example in a vehicle), always sign out at the end of use.
- Do not save passwords in the browser on public computers.
Lost phone or stolen laptop
- Tell your school or operator immediately so they can disable or reset access if needed.
- If you used personal email for login, monitor that inbox for suspicious reset messages.
What this help center will never publish
- Production database or server passwords
- Private keys, VPN profiles with secrets, or internal IP diagrams that weaken security
- Customer personal data or exports
Technical staff find procedures in internal runbooks and secure configuration stores — not in this public site.
